Testing

Follow the instructions below to test the Caller ID with Ring Controller. If you encounter any difficulites, please review the User Manual or Help Center for more assistance.

5. Wait about 30-40 seconds (or turn power switch off and on). The screen light must be off (dark).
6. Call your phone number again. The screen will display the caller's ID, name, date and time. Your phone will not ring (silent).
7. With the caller's phone number and name showing on the screen, press the "Next" key to bring up this screen:
   
   Press the "Enter" key and the indicator light will turn red.
8. Wait about 30-40 seconds, (or turn power switch off and on). The screen light must be off (dark).
9. Call your phone number again. The screen will display the caller's ID, name, date and time, but the phone will ring again.
10. You have successfully tested your Caller ID with Ring Controller. Please consult the User Manual or Help Center if you have any further questions.

1. Turn power switch off and then on again.
2. Use a cellular phone or ask a friend to call your number. The screen will display the caller's ID or phone number (subscription to phone company's caller ID service required) and the caller's name as well as the date and time. The phone will ring.
3. Press the "Menu" key to select “Set up control level” and press "Enter" key.
   
4. The window should display the message:
   
   Press the "Next" key.
   The display message will change to:
   
   Press "Enter" key
   It will change to:
   
   Repeat above by pressing the "Next" and "Enter" keys
   Repeat the steps one final time.
