Installation

Follow the instructions below to install your Caller ID with Ring Controller. If you encounter any difficulites, please review the User Manual or Help Center for more assistance.

Installation with a seperate Answering Machine

Install telephone wire as depicted below. Plug phone cord into wall jack and power adapter into appropriate outlet. Always install in this order: Source wire (wall jack) ⇒ Answering Machine (if applicable) ⇒ Ring Controller ⇒ Phone or Fax Machine

Caller ID with Ring Controller allows you to choose when your phone rings so you can block unwanted phone calls. Assign callers to three lists: ring any time (friends and family), block calls during certain hours (business and acquintances) and always block calls (debt collectors, telemarketers, political campaigns, hang-ups, donation solicitors, bill collectors, harassing calls, creditors, wrong numbers or anybody else you don’t want to talk to). Requires caller ID service from your local phone company.
